History of Hoarder of Tainted Light

Overview

The Hoarder of Tainted Light is a named, Dark Ether-corrupted Heavy Shank boss of the Fallen (House of Salvation). It appears in the Wild Card Exotic mission, where the Guardian draws it out from a sniper's position and fights through its damage phases while waves of explosive Shanks come in.

Encounter

The Hoarder is the large Mega-Shank in the mission's ambush. Long-range weapons such as scout, sniper and pulse rifles are recommended. The boss becomes temporarily immune after losing each third of its health, so the endless Shanks swarming the canyon should be thinned out between phases.
