History of Homecoming

Overview

Homecoming was the first story mission of the original Destiny 2 campaign (Red War), set in The Last City: the Red Legion invade and you defend the Tower. It was removed from the base campaign when Destiny 2: Beyond Light replaced it with the New Light campaign (vaulted at that time). The entry here is the replayable "Relive the Homecoming experience" version.

Encounters

• Reach the Tower, find Commander Zavala in the Plaza, arm up from Lord Shaxx's armory.
• Repel three Red Legion assaults, find the Speaker with Ikora Rey, board the Cabal command ship and destroy three exhaust turbines, then escape.
• Bosses: Pashk, the Searing Will; Brann, the Unbent Blade; Kreth, the Living Skyfire. A Solstice of Heroes Redux version has additional bosses.
