Hot Knife is a Lost Sector modifier on K1 Crew Quarters. It gives Shanks Solar shields, so Solar weapons are the practical answer to them. A 2022 guide notes that the sector's only shields are Solar.
The modifier appears in 2022 and 2023 guides, so the current rotation may differ.
