History of I: Eggcloth

Overview

I: Eggcloth is a Triumph in Destiny 2, filed in the Lore category of the Triumphs menu. It unlocks the first entry of the lore book Achilles Weaves a Cocoon, which was added in Season of the Splicer.

The entry is told in the third person and follows Namrask, a weakened Eliksni who arrives on Europa needing Ether and tries to leave his violent past behind by becoming a weaver. Eramis has him placed in a freezing warren, where he is expected to die. He wins a small measure of respect by weaving eggcloth from broken eggshells for the young Eliksni there. He separates the shell from the thin membrane with his teeth and weaves the fibre on a loom. He refuses Eramis's offer of power to fight for her and ends by giving a scrap of the finished cloth to two young Eliksni.
