History of III: Bannercloth

Overview

III: Bannercloth is a lore triumph in Destiny 2. It unlocks the chapter III: Bannercloth of the lore book Achilles Weaves a Cocoon, added in Season of the Splicer (2021). It is the third of eight chapters.

The chapter is told in the third person, with dialogue mainly from Namrask and Variks. On Europa, Namrask's fellow Eliksni urge him to act against Eramis. He reluctantly travels to Riis-Reborn to seek help from Variks, a judge. Variks refuses a favor but offers to pass Namrask's name to Mithrax in exchange for new bannercloth. Namrask cannot finish weaving it before Variks summons the Guardians to Europa.
