History of III. Memento

Overview

III. Memento is a lore triumph in Destiny 2. It unlocks the chapter III. Memento of the lore book Voices of the Haunted, added in Season of the Haunted (2022).

The chapter is narrated in the third person. Commander Zavala and Amanda Holliday speak in his office in the Tower, looking out over the Last City. Amanda remembers her parents, who sacrificed so she could reach the City. Zavala reflects on devotion, bravery and sacrifice. Amanda says being remembered is the next best thing, and Zavala says he wishes he could return the favour. Clicking desk pendulums, relics of a lost scientific age, recur through the scene.

How to complete

• Progress the seasonal triumph Ghost in the Machine during Season of the Haunted; the Voices of the Haunted entries unlock through it.
