History of III

III is the member of The Nine associated with Earth, part of the "Inner Orbits" bloc. Maya Sundaresh confronted III on Kepler using the Echo of Command, pulling the higher-dimensional being into three-dimensional space, which killed it. III warned that its death would cause a mass extinction event and urged humanity to "bind the Nine"; The Drifter briefly revived it with Motes of Dark so it could say so. With Earth's representative gone, the Nine split evenly between Inner and Outer Orbits. Another note on this wiki identifies III as the voice Archon Levaszk called "The Giver"; the source opened here did not state this directly.
