History of IX.X.II: Apocrypha

Overview

IX.X.II: Apocrypha is a lore Triumph for the entry "Thy Song Shall Become Death" from the Apocrypha section of the Inquisition of the Damned lore book, added with Shadowkeep in October 2019. Azavath wakes to learn that Akrazul is rampaging through the Pit. A voice asks her to become the "First Death" and lead a rebuilt Choir, in exchange for a weapon.

Savathûn saved Azavath's essence and placed it in Malkanth's body, and Azavath then used her Deathsong to unmake Akrazul, ending the failed inquisition.

How to complete

The entry follows IX.X.I: No Gods, Only Devils, where Malkanth's essence is freed from her body, and comes before XI.X: To Forge an Anvil, which closes the sequence.

None beyond the triumph itself.
