History of I - Violent Tributaries

Overview

I - Violent Tributaries is a Triumph in Destiny 2 for the first lore entry of the lore book Acts of Mercy, which was added with The Witch Queen in March 2022. The entry is followed by "II - Wake" in the same book.

The entry follows Saladin after raiders ambush him beyond Lords of Iron territory. He wakes hanging from a branch, pierced through the shoulder, and burns free with his Light while his Ghost, Isirah, urges him on. He survives the fall to the forest floor, then fires a rocket at the ridge where his attackers are, with flak shards cutting his face as he shoots.
