History of Iatros

Iatros, Inward-Turned is a Vex Wyvern of the Nessian Schism and a boss in the The Desert Perpetual raid. It is a massive Wyvern fought in a cramped arena. The three side bosses can be taken in any order, and guides generally treat Iatros as an approachable starting fight that teaches the raid's Chronon and timer mechanics.

The arena runs on a wipe timer tied to an hourglass. Teams keep Minotaurs cleared and dunk Chronons to fill the hourglass and extend the timer, while others handle the platforming. Once the required collection is finished, Iatros becomes vulnerable and the team unloads damage on it. Its wings carry immunity shields, and the crit spot at its core is rarely exposed.
