History of Imperium Drop Pod

Overview

The Imperium Drop Pod is a Renegade ability of the Totality Division Syndicate in Destiny 2: Renegades. It calls down a modified Imperium drop pod that slams into the ground, damaging enemies on impact, and the pod also carries weapon ammo.

Acquisition

The ability is obtained during the Renegades quest. Renegade abilities are selected in the ready room before a Lawless Frontier job and are activated by throwing a token. They cannot be used in general activities such as raids.

Upgrades

Each Renegade ability has seven upgrade levels. At Level 4 the Drop Pod gains two ability charges, more special and heavy ammo, and a larger area of effect.

Usage

Because the pod drops weapon ammo, it is mainly used to restock during long fights; its Invasion value comes largely from the heavy ammo it supplies at the start of a hunt, according to Sportskeeda's ranking.
