History of In Memoriam

Overview

In Memoriam is a Triumph in Destiny 2 tied to the Ghosts of the Deep dungeon. It requires finding and listening to all twelve Memories of Darkness in the dungeon. Completing it awards 10 Triumph score and counts toward the Ghoul title.

How to complete

The memories sit in jumping puzzles, behind hidden doors, and after encounters, so follow a full location walkthrough in order. The main spots, in dungeon order:

1. Before the first encounter: the fallen trees about one o'clock up the main path. Crouch, drop into a building, take the stairs down, and check the back right of the room.
2. After the first encounter: through the doors to the Drilling Platform, then the high room on the left wall.
3. After the narrow floor gaps: the triangular blue-lit room with a rectangular floor hole. Go up the stairs into the Hallowfathom.
4. After clearing the Hive room: through the floor hole, past the rotating platforms, and up to the centre pillar.
5. After the first water entry: through the cracked door.
6. After the first long underwater descent: a windowed tube and a catwalk to the platform's end.
7. After the second water entry: past the rotating platforms, out through the broken glass, and onto a window ledge.
8. After the third water entry: on the ocean floor, following the red light on the left.
9. During the third expedition: the cliff edge, exiting on the right.
10. In the Hive ship: after the Hive on the large stairway, through a tube with flowing water.
11. After the Ecthar encounter: at the far end of the hallway behind iron bars.
12. After defeating Simmumah ur-Nokru: the cave at the back of the middle water section. Look through the lens to shatter the Hive symbol.

Tips: entries 5 and 6 come back to back, so read ahead. Air bubbles are limited in the underwater sections, so share them with your team.

Redeeming the triumph raises your chances at The Navigator from the final encounter chest of Ghosts of the Deep.
