Vex Incursion Zone

Overview

The Vex Incursion Zone is a rotating public-space area of Neomuna, introduced with Destiny 2: Lightfall. The Vex are testing CloudArk defenses and the VexNet bleeds into the region. One of the main areas of Neomuna is marked on the map each rotation with falling multicoloured light, and the marked area changes on a regular rotation.

Mechanics

• Vex appear in greater numbers and at a higher enemy level than normal, so it is best entered after levelling past the soft cap.
• Strand energy sources temporarily increase Strand ability recovery, and Strand Meditation drops are increased.
• Rarely the Vex disable the CloudArk's defenses and the Vex Strike Force public event starts: kill several tough Minotaurs within a time limit. Sources report it guarantees an Exotic armor piece on completion.

Rewards

Increased Strand Meditations (used to unlock Strand abilities and aspects) and the Exotic armor from the Vex Strike Force event.

A Lightfall-era destination activity; there was no sunset announced in the sources used. Rotation details may have changed since launch.
