History of Invader

Overview

Invader is a Gambit mechanic and, in Gambit Prime, a role. A player of a team can invade the opposing team's arena, seeing enemy positions and carried motes, ignored by AI, with an overshield. The invader is sent home after 30 seconds or 4 kills. During the Primeval phase, invader kills heal the enemy Primeval, undoing progress. Wikipedia describes invasion portals spawning when a team banks motes.
