History of Io Token

Overview

An Io Token was an activity token earned from Public Events, Adventures and Lost Sectors on Io. Players turned them in to Asher Mir in The Rupture for reputation, and he exchanged them for emblems, shaders and Io-specific weapons and armor.

Availability

Sources disagree on whether tokens still work. A 2017 guide describes 20 tokens filling one reputation level, alongside Phaseglass Needles and Phaseglass Spires. Destinypedia states that tokens were made obsolete with the release of Forsaken and are now unobtainable. Check Asher Mir's current menu in-game.
