History of Ir Yût

Overview

Ir Yût, the Deathsinger was a Hive Wizard aligned with Crota's Spawn and encountered in Crota's End. Her Deathsong was the reason Toland, the Shattered joined the first Crota fireteam; Destinypedia says their meeting left Toland separated from his biological form and banished to the Sea of Screams. A recovered record associates Ir Yût's designation with the moment of Eriana-3's death, implying that Ir Yût killed her. Later, two Wizards sharing Ir Yût's likeness and name attended Crota's death ceremony; this suggests possible survival as an Ascendant Hive but does not establish it.
