Ir Yût

Overview

Ir Yût, the Deathsinger was a Hive Wizard aligned with Crota and encountered in Crota's End. She had to be slain before Crota could be summoned; in the original Destiny raid, Guardians had three minutes before her Deathsong completed. Guardians fashioned armor and weapons from her spoils. Her Deathsong motivated Toland, the Shattered to join the first Crota fireteam. Reportedly, their meeting left Toland separated from his biological form and banished; a recovered record links Ir Yût's designation to the moment of Eriana-3's death, implying that she killed her. Later, two Wizards sharing her likeness and name attended Crota's death ceremony, suggesting possible survival without establishing it.
