History of Iris

Overview

Iris is a triumph featured in the Destiny 2 expansion House of Wolves. The objective requires players to complete a specific activity associated with the asteroid of the same name.

How to complete

To obtain this triumph, players must engage with the Iris asteroid located in the asteroid belt. This celestial body is the site of the historical Battle of Iris, which took place during the Reef Wars.

The conflict involved the Awoken and the Silent Fang, an elite assassin unit led by Drevis. Initially, the Silent Fang attacked the Amethyst space station. Paladin Abra Zire pursued the assassins to Iris, where they encountered a Wolf Ketch. The Awoken forces engaged the vessel, believing it to be commanded by Drevis. However, the ship was actually the Parixas, captained by Parixas.

It was revealed that Grayor and the Silent Fang had deceived the Awoken into destroying Skolas' final rival. This outcome allowed Skolas to become the sole claimant to the throne, subsequently declaring himself the Kell of Wolves. The triumph is tied to the lore surrounding this betrayal and the subsequent rise of Skolas.
