History of Iron Banner Quickplay

Overview

Iron Banner Quickplay is the limited-time 6v6 Iron Banner rotator that replaces the regular Quickplay node. Bungie described its 2025 version as Open Skill matchmaking, rotating Eruption, Fortress and Tribute, with Rift planned to return to the rotation. Bungie’s May 2026 playlist listing says it runs for one week every four weeks and rotates Tribute, Fortress and Eruption. It is distinct from Iron Banner Control, which replaces the Control node. Availability and the mode rotation are date-dependent; check the current Crucible Director.
