History of Justiciar

Overview

Justiciar is a Triumph that is completed by reaching Guardian Rank 8 in the Guardian Ranks system. It is one of the seven unique triumphs needed for the Legend title. Rank 8 is an Advanced Rank, so its objectives are seasonal and reset each season, and the triumph does not need to be earned in a particular season.

How to complete

1. Reach Rank 6, which most returning players start at. Ranks 1 to 6 are permanent and are earned by completing each tier's objectives and then ranking up at the Ironwood Tree in the Tower.
2. Work through the Rank 7 and Rank 8 objectives. Rank 8, known as the Challenge tier, covers the campaign on Legendary, Nightfall and Endgame activities such as King's Fall, Root of Nightmares, Duality and Spire of the Watcher, five solo Legend Lost Sectors, and collections of 15 Exotic weapons and 15 Exotic armor pieces.
3. Expect seasonal pieces at this tier: use seasonal weapons, level the Artifact, and play seasonal content and Expert Lost Sectors and Nightfalls.

Tips

Progress appears to carry over. One tester reached Guardian Rank 10 in past seasons, was Rank 7 in the current season, and had the triumph auto-completed. Check the Journey tab of the Guardian menu for the full current objective list, because seasonal objectives change between seasons.
