History of Ketchkiller's Plate

Overview

Ketchkiller's Plate is a Legendary Titan Chest Armor piece of Armor. Its flavor text reads: "You will face cutlass and cannon fire… nothing you need fear." —Mithrax.

The Ketchkiller's Suit armor set was released with Season of Plunder and is named after the Ketchkiller Eliksni raiders. It has a Titan, Hunter and Warlock version, each made up of a helmet, gauntlets, chest armor, leg armor and a class item: Ketchkiller's Helmet, Ketchkiller's Gauntlets, Ketchkiller's Plate, Ketchkiller's Greaves and Ketchkiller's Mark for Titans; Ketchkiller's Mask, Ketchkiller's Grips, Ketchkiller's Vest, Ketchkiller's Strides and Ketchkiller's Cloak for Hunters; and Ketchkiller's Hood, Ketchkiller's Gloves, Ketchkiller's Robes, Ketchkiller's Boots and Ketchkiller's Bond for Warlocks. The set takes its pirate look from the Fallen Ketch ships, in purple and grey.

Acquisition

The pieces are sold at the Star Chart aboard the H.E.L.M. for one Umbral Engram, 25 Legendary Shards and five Plundered Umbral Energy each. They also drop from Ketchcrash, Expeditions and weekly Pirate Hideout missions, and from completing Pirate Riddle quests. Xûr occasionally sells them in his weekly inventory.

These routes are from Season of Plunder in 2022. The sources don't confirm that they still apply, so check the current vendors in-game before farming.
