History of Knight

Overview

Knights are heavy infantry of the Hive. In Destiny 2 they wield a Boomer (Arc) or a Splinter crossbow-type weapon firing Solar bolts, and carry a large oval shield that blocks frontal attacks and restores health. Shield Knights with Hive Shields arrived with the Warmind expansion, first among the Grasp of Nokris. Hive lore describes Knights as a caste that receives tithes from Acolytes. See also Wizard.
