History of Koi Cirrus

Overview

Koi Cirrus is a Triumph in Destiny 2 from the Season of the Deep fishing content. It requires catching one Koi Cirrus, a fish you can reel in at the Fish Ponds. It is a single-catch fish triumph and is not one of the ten triumphs in the Aquanaut seal.

How to complete

1. Finish the first weekly mission, Into the Depths, then speak with Hawthorne to receive the fishing quest and a tackle box.
2. Collect bait from Salvage, Deep Dives, playlist activities, public events, patrols and destination materials. Longer, bigger activities give more bait. Bait is needed to catch fish.
3. Fish at one of the three ponds: the one in the European Dead Zone, the one on Nessus and the one in Savathun's Throne World. Hitting the interact button starts a cast, and pressing it again when the prompt appears reels the fish in.
4. Press interact shortly after a fish bites for a perfect catch. Perfect catches fill the Focused Fishing meter faster, which improves your odds of rarer fish.
5. Fishing alongside other players fills the meter faster, so a group at the same pond is the quickest route.

Rarity

Guides disagree on the tier. The Loadout lists Koi Cirrus as Legendary, while Dexerto lists it in both the Rare and Legendary tables.
