History of Koro

Koro is a Reef Awoken refugee who studies how lightning and nitrogen enrich the soil. He appears only in the Nitrogen entry of The Awoken of the Reef, a lore book series from Forsaken.

In the scene, Koro goes outside after a lightning storm, dancing in joy in a cloak and rebreather. He explains that the containment field's charge arcs into the ground and splits nitrogen in the air, which fertilizes the soil so plants can grow. He argues that the Awoken are now a refugee people and must learn to live off the land, while Tellia Ros doubts farming has a place on the Reef. Koro also mentions a job maintaining remote telescopes for a Fallen on Hygeia, work that alarms Tellia because it is tied to the Spider.
