History of Krill

Overview

Krill is a lore Triumph in Destiny 2 tied to the Krill entry of the Lucent Tales lore book, added with The Witch Queen in March 2022. Its objective is Progress (0/3).

Krill is a Hive Ghost affiliated with the Lucent Brood. In the entry, Krill writes a private medical log while treating growths in the Lucent Hive for Ubartu-ana, who blames Krill and suspects poison. Krill's biopsies show no infection, but the cysts are lined with immune cells, and one holds a winged arthropod made of energy that contains Hive cells. Krill theorizes that Hive physiology walls off the Light as an infection, and that the Light changes into a parasite-like form.

Krill was the first to find the origin of the Lucent Moth, but credit went to Ubartu-ana, which Krill finds ironic.
