History of Lawless

Overview

Season: Lawless is the season that launched alongside Destiny 2: Renegades on December 2, 2025. Its theme is criminal Syndicates competing for power, centred on the Lawless Frontier contract activity on Mars, Venus and Europa, with the Tharsis Outpost as its social space.

Updates

A major update, Monument of Triumph, arrived June 9, 2026. Wikipedia says it was originally planned for March 2026 as "Shadow & Order" before large revisions and a delay. Iron Banner moved to a permanent four-week rotation, and new Iron Banner gear such as Iron Battalion arrived.

Discrepancy

Destinypedia calls Lawless the twenty-fifth and final season, while Wikipedia calls it Season 28. Sources also differ on which season some Iron Banner gear (e.g. Reghusk's Pledge) belongs to.
