History of Legend Battlegrounds

Overview

Legend Battlegrounds is the Legend difficulty of Defiant Battlegrounds, the three-player matchmade battleground activity that debuted in Season of Defiance alongside Lightfall. Completing it counts toward the triumph Legend Battlegrounds Completed.

Access

Defiant Battlegrounds unlock by completing the first Lightfall mission. Nimbus then gives the player the Ascendant Scepter, a gift from Mara Sov, which opens a portal to the Ascendant Plane. The scepter also directs players to Vanguard equipment at Striders' Gate that starts a quest.

Playlist

Defiant Battlegrounds can also be played from the H.E.L.M. playlist, the harder version of the activity. Its recommended Power Level was 1770 in a 2023 guide, and players below 1760 are raised to 1760 to enter.
