Legendary Shards

Overview

Legendary Shards were a Destiny 2 currency earned by dismantling legendary or exotic gear and from activities, and spent on gear focusing, infusion and items from Xûr and others.

Removal

Bungie announced that shards would be removed starting in Season 23, with their costs replaced by Ritual Engrams and Glimmer. The currency was deleted at The Final Shape.
