History of Letters

Overview

Letters is a lore Triumph in Destiny 2 tied to a lore entry of the same name in the The Dreaming City book, added with Destiny 2: Forsaken in August 2018.

The entry is a set of letters between two cousins. Most are marked as undelivered; one is marked as delivered. The writer recalls their shared childhood in the Last City, expresses grief over a loss, and pledges to come to the cousin if news of the cousin's death arrives. The delivered letter reports on the writer's time inside a place and says they will meet the cousin at a throne.
