History of Leviathan's Breath Catalyst

Overview

Leviathan's Breath Catalyst is a Triumph in Destiny 2 that tracks kills made with the Exotic bow Leviathan's Breath. It counts 500 defeated combatants, and defeating powerful combatants with any weapon or ability advances it much faster.

How to complete

Equip Leviathan's Breath and defeat combatants while it is your weapon. Powerful enemies advance the count significantly faster than standard ones, so prioritise them when you can.

The catalyst

The 500 kills unlock the catalyst upgrade for Leviathan's Breath. Patch 7.2.0.1 cut the kill requirement from 1,500 to 500. The upgrade adds:

• 80 inventory size, which is 5 extra arrows.
• The Colossal Quiver trait, which increases quiver size.
• The Archer's Tempo perk, which shortens draw time after each precision hit.

Acquisition

The bow began as a quest for Season Pass owners, available until Season of Arrivals. After that it could be bought from the Monument to Lost Lights. It can also drop from ritual activities.
