History of Light Mag

Overview

Light Mag is a magazine perk that improves reload speed and slightly increases range. It was added in Season 4 (Year 1). It is not a strong pairing with the Outlaw perk.

Effect

Reported values are +10 Reload Speed and +5 Range. No changes to these values are documented.

Light Mag rolls on many weapon families, including Submachine Guns, Pulse Rifles and Shotguns (for example Badlander).

Tips

In the same magazine column, Flared Magwell gives a much larger reload bonus with a slight stability increase. Light Mag is the better pick when range matters more than reload speed.
