History of Likely Suspect (triumph)

Overview

The Likely Suspect triumph is awarded for completing Deepsight Resonance extractions on the Likely Suspect fusion rifle. Completing these extractions unlocks the weapon's Pattern, allowing it to be crafted. The triumph tracks Pattern progress as its primary objective.

How to complete

To complete this triumph, players must acquire the Likely Suspect weapon. This Legendary Void Fusion Rifle was introduced in The Witch Queen expansion. It has a chance to drop from Legendary Engrams in Savathûn's Throne World after completing the Trust Goes Both Ways quest from Fynch.

Once obtained, the weapon must be taken to Shaxx in The Tower to have Deepsight Resonance applied. This process requires a Deepsight Resonance mod, which is obtained by completing Nightfall strikes. Applying the mod reveals the weapon's Perks and marks it for extraction.

Players must then complete a Nightfall strike with the weapon equipped and active. Upon successful completion, the weapon is extracted, revealing one of its Perks and adding to the Pattern progress. This process must be repeated until the full Pattern is unlocked. The weapon's flavor text reads: "Don't wrack your brain. The guilty party is usually the one holding the smoking gun."
