History of Loot Cave

Overview

A loot cave is a spot where enemies respawn continuously so players can farm drops. The original comes from the first Destiny. In Destiny 2: Beyond Light players found a "new" one in the Cosmodrome.

Location and use

It is in the Divide, the southern zone of the Cosmodrome, behind the Steppes spawn after passing through Deck 13. It is a doorway rather than a cave: stand back from the door and Fallen respawn regularly. The Divide must be cleared first or they will not spawn.

Yield

Gamerant reports roughly one Prime Engram per 45 minutes and low XP, so it is more nostalgia than efficient farming. Details may have been changed by later patches.
