History of Lord of the Undercroft

Overview

Lord of the Undercroft is a Triumph in Destiny 2 that comes from the first Ascendant Mystery in the Ruins of Wrath, a Shattered Realm mission in Season of the Lost. Completing it is worth 4 Triumph Score. The objective is to investigate the Warbringer's Tower.

How to complete

1. Align the first beacon in the Ruins of Wrath to start the mystery, then walk to the base of the Warbringer's Tower.
2. Stand on the glowing Hive plate across from the entrance and defend it from waves of Hive until the tower door opens.
3. Follow the Toland orb inside and go down to the lowest level, where the miniboss Scoroboth (son of Xivu Arath) waits.
4. Scoroboth's shield can only be broken with relics, orbs scattered around the level. Take the first orb from behind an Awoken barrier on the right side of the room, escort it to the boss and throw it. This removes about a third of his health, and he then retreats.
5. Return to the room that emits a lot of light, face away from it and push forward, then take the right fork to find the second orb. Grab it and backtrack so Scoroboth respawns, then remove another third of his health.
6. Go to the brightly lit room and use the Barrier Breach marker beside the boss to reach the last orb. Grab it, break the shield one final time and defeat Scoroboth.

Rewards

After Scoroboth dies, an Ascendant Chest appears against the wall in the same room.
