History of Lubrae

Overview

Lubrae was a planet that was home to the Lubraean civilization, lit by two suns. The Sapphiric Sun gave light, while the Umbral Sun left the surface in darkness. The Lubraeans were concentrated in a single city surrounded by the Abyss, an artificial chasm crossed by one narrow bridge.

Fall

After the Traveler left, a government called The Regime militarized the city and went after the Wanderers, nomads who rejected its ways. Rhulk was a Wanderer indoctrinated into The Regime. He grew conflicted, came to detest both sides, and eventually destroyed Lubrae.

Shattered Suns

In the Ishtar Collective lore entry “Isolated”, added with The Witch Queen, an unseen entity tells Rhulk that Lubrae is all that remains of his former world. The entity says the shattered world has been recreated around him in every painstaking detail.
