History of MCXLII.

Overview

MCXLII. is a lore Triumph in Destiny 2, the 14th chapter of The Chronicon, a lore book added in Season of Opulence in June 2019.

Lore

The entry is recorded by Scribe Ixolt and sets out the “Great Revelation” that Emperor Calus received at the end of the universe. It is set 118 years after Calus brought liberty to the Sol system, and it describes three stages:

• A darkness veils all worlds, and fear and suspicion spread.
• A great war breaks out across all civilizations.
• Death arrives and claims everything. Calus is said to be the last to see it.

Sol civilizations that accept the coming end stay out of the war but still suffer from others' violence.

How to complete
