MIDA Multi-Tool is an Exotic Scout Rifle (Kinetic) from the Red War campaign of Destiny 2.

Overview

The weapon boosts your movement speed, and its MIDA Radar keeps your radar active while aiming down sights. It pairs with the legendary MIDA Mini-Tool Submachine Gun.

Acquisition

Originally the quest "Sight, Shoot, Repeat", started after finishing the Red Legion campaign and receiving the MIDA Mini-Tool from Devrim Kay in the European Dead Zone, then continued with Banshee-44 in the Tower (no longer available as a quest).
Currently bought from the Exotic Archive at the Monument to Lost Lights (Red War Exotics) for an Exotic Cipher, Glimmer, Legendary Shards and an Ascendant Shard; exact costs vary between sources.

Catalyst

The MIDA Multi-Tool Catalyst adds Outlaw (precision kills greatly reduce reload time). It is earned by reaching Legend Glory rank in Crucible Survival, then getting precision kills with the weapon.
