Overview

Mars – IV is a lore Triumph in Destiny 2 tied to the Epochs & Orbits lore book. It was added with Destiny 2: The Edge of Fate on July 23, 2025. Its title refers to the planet Mars.

The entry is narrated by “the Fourth Intellect,” one of The Nine, in an all-caps monologue. Second-person passages follow your hand moving through Mars's history, from a living, fertile world to a desolate, rusted one. The narration also refers to a relationship with “III” and invites a bridge between perspectives.
