History of Mask of Optimacy

Overview

Mask of Optimacy is a Legendary Hunter Helmet from the Optimacy Set, which has five pieces for each class (Titan, Hunter and Warlock). Its flavor text is "From high atop humanity we watch." The set's other pieces share the same theme of looking down on everyone else; the set's leg piece reads, "All that tread below will learn that we, the Optimacy, dwell above." It is the Hunter helmet; Cloak of Optimacy is the matching Hunter class item. The set has a minimum level of 20.

Sources disagree on when the set arrived: one lists Season 1 of Destiny 2 and another lists Season 7.

Acquisition

The set's pieces came from the vendor Tess Everis at the Eververse Trading Company, who sold them for Bright Engrams. Bright Engrams can also drop the pieces as random loot.
