History of Maximum Carnage

Overview

Maximum Carnage is a Triumph in Destiny 2 earned in Gambit. It requires an Invader to defeat seven Guardians in a single Invasion before the Drifter returns them to their side.

How to complete

1. Queue for Gambit and play as the Invader in the Invasion phase.
2. Defeat seven Guardians within one invasion. Kills from separate invasions do not add together.
3. Keep the invasion going until the seventh kill; if you are sent back to your side first, the count for that invasion is lost.

A community clip of seven kills in one invasion on Nessus shows the feat being done in the Nessus Gambit map. A Bungie forum thread reports a player who reached several kills, then respawned and lost the count before the triumph was awarded; Bungie does not grant it manually, so the feat has to be repeated.
