History of Mechanical Depth

Overview

Mechanical Depth is a Triumph in Destiny 2 from Season of the Deep. It requires successfully completing an encounter at each new depth of Deep Dives. Each depth is a unique boss at the end of a Deep Dive run. The triumph counts toward the MMXXIII title. Its reward is 30 score.

How to complete

1. Run Deep Dives and complete encounters to raise your fireteam's reward tier. The maximum tier is T7.
2. Beat Toland Pressure Trials, which also helps you gain tiers.
3. The depth you face is set by the highest tier your fireteam reaches. Tiers 1–3 lead to Twilight bosses, tiers 4–6 to Midnight bosses, and tier 7 to the Abyss boss.
4. Once you reach a tier with a new depth, complete an encounter there to count it for this triumph.
