Overview

Meditate on the Light is a one-step Season 16 quest associated with purchasing new subclass abilities from Ikora Rey through the “Grow Your Light” vendor menus in the Tower. The old quest record describes a short unlock step rather than a multi-objective campaign.

Walkthrough

  1. Purchase a new subclass ability from Ikora and leave the vendor menu.
  2. Interact with the Meditation device beside her. The quest completes and unlocks the purchased ability.

Rewards

The purchased subclass ability is unlocked. The quest record does not list a separate item reward.

Troubleshooting

A player report on Bungie’s Help forum from March 2022 documented an ability purchase going to the Postmaster when the quest inventory was full, leaving the quest step unable to complete after no further purchases remained. This is a dated report, not evidence of a current issue; check the Postmaster if the historical flow appears incomplete.
