History of Message from Aunor III

Overview

Message from Aunor III is a Triumph in Destiny 2 tied to the third of the lore messages from Aunor, a Praxic Order Warlock. The messages were added in Season of the Drifter (March 2019). The triumph has no listed objectives, points or rewards.

Lore

The message is filed under the lore book The Warlock Aunor and is tagged to the Shadows of Yor and Dredgen Yor. It is presented as a transcript recovered with the remains of a Ghost, found after a clash between Praxic forces and a renegade Guardian in the City.

The dead Guardian and their Titan were followers of Dredgen Yor, and the Shadows of Yor are an outlaw group seeking power through Darkness. Aunor suggests the Drifter may have been a member. Rumors say younger Guardians are taking up the Dredgen name at the Drifter's direction. She offers three possible motives: the Shadows recruiting for Darkness use through Gambit, a rift between the Drifter and the Shadows, or the Dredgen followers aiding the Drifter. The message closes with a warning that the Drifter is not to be trusted.

How to unlock

Messages arrive in the postmaster. Archive the message rather than dismantling it. Archiving opens a lore entry called The Warlock Aunor under Stolen Intelligence in the Light tab.
