History of Misfit

Overview

Misfit is a Legendary Arc Auto Rifle with the Rapid-Fire Frame archetype (720 RPM, 56-round magazine per Destinypedia), made by the Fallen and tied to the Tangled Shore. The frame gives deeper ammo reserves and a slightly faster reload when the magazine is empty. Its curated roll is listed as Drop Mag with High-Impact Reserves. Flavor text: "Nowhere else to go."

Acquisition

Introduced with Forsaken (Season 4 per the Destiny Game Wiki). Like other Legendary gear it comes from opening Legendary engrams and from faction rank-up packages (the in-game source text). Whether it can be crafted or has an Adept version is not stated in the sources used. Destinypedia lists the source as engrams; the Destiny Game Wiki names the Gunsmith rank-up engrams.
