History of Mos Epoch III

Overview

Mos Epoch III is a Legendary Arc Rocket Launcher (Heavy ammo, 1-round magazine, 25 RPM per Destinypedia). The Destiny Game Wiki lists an Aggressive Frame (high damage, high recoil) with the curated roll Volatile Launch (greatly increased blast radius) and Black Powder. Flavor text: "The perpetual eventually gives way to the variable." Destinypedia notes its perk section is incomplete.

Acquisition

The Destiny Game Wiki says it was introduced in Season 9 (Season of Dawn). Like other Legendary gear it comes from opening Legendary engrams and from faction rank-up packages (the in-game source text). Whether it can be crafted or has an Adept version is not stated in the sources used. Destinypedia says it drops from activity rewards on Nessus and from rank-up packages from Failsafe; the Destiny Game Wiki gives only the engram/rank-up source text.
