History of Mote of Dark

Overview

Motes of Dark are collectibles dropped by defeated enemies in Gambit. Invading Guardians drop three motes when defeated. Teams bank motes to fill their bank, which spawns blockers on the opposing side and ultimately summons a Primeval. A team needs 100 motes banked to summon one.

Lore

The Drifter's Ghost Blue was modified to detect and emit light in new spectrums, enabling the technology behind Gambit banks and Motes of Dark. The Drifter has called the motes "delectable."
