Motion to Compel is a Legendary Arc Scout Rifle (High-Impact Frame, 150 RPM), part of the Trials of the Nine loot pool added with Destiny 2: Warmind (Season 3). Listed perks include Swap Mag, Drop Mag or Extended Mag, with Slideshot, Moving Target or Kill Clip as traits (curated roll: Kill Clip / Slideshot per the Destiny 2 Wiki). Stats per Destinypedia/Destiny 2 Wiki: 14-round magazine. Its lore alludes to the Nine watching Mara Sov's scheming.

Acquisition

Obtained in Year 1 (Destiny 2: Warmind, Season 3) from Trials of the Nine, the Crucible event: complete Trials tickets and earn rank-up packages from the Emissary of the Nine (Destiny 2 Wiki lists the vendor as the Emissary at the Third Spire). Trials of the Nine has since been retired and replaced by Trials of Osiris (from Season of the Worthy), so this is a legacy item: sources describe it as unobtainable today. It is not craftable and has no Adept version. Community videos label it unobtainable.
