Nanotech Tracer Missiles is an Origin Trait found on certain Destiny 2 weapons. Bungie’s item record describes its base effect as turning the next shot into a homing micro-missile after multiple hits; the enhanced version has a shorter cooldown between activations.

Name

Bungie renamed the Origin Trait from Nanotech Tracer Rockets to Nanotech Tracer Missiles in Update 9.1.0, as part of its terminology update for micro-missiles.
