History of New Monarchy

New Monarchy was one of the three Consensus factions of the Last City, advocating centralized monarchist rule to restore a new Golden Age. Its motto is "Together we will rise."

Overview

The faction is credited with defeating the rival Concordat at Bannerfall, preventing an overthrow of the Consensus and the Speaker. After the Red War it set up a recruiting base in the Tower's Bazaar. During the Season of the Splicer it allied with Future War Cult and attempted a coup before leaving the City.

Vendor

Executor Hideo sells New Monarchy gear. Tokens earned in strikes, public events and Lost Sectors are turned in for engrams during a Faction Rally. Its rally weapons include Legal Action II. New Monarchy won more rallies than its rivals; the Destiny Game Wiki counts 4 of 8 across Seasons 1 to 3.
