History of Nimbus

Overview

Nimbus is a non-binary human Cloud Strider, one of the cybernetic defenders of Neomuna, and the city's Destination vendor. Born Dara Danu, they volunteered for augmentation at the Sidereal and trained under Rohan. Nimbus first appears in Lightfall. After Rohan's sacrifice, Nimbus became Neomuna's primary defender.

With Osiris, Nimbus helps Guardians learn Strand. Nimbus mentioned the "River of Souls", a Neomuni concept, which led Osiris to realize that wielding Strand requires relinquishing control.

Location

Nimbus is found in Striders' Gate in Neomuna.

Quests

Nimbus is the first contact in The Final Strand. The quest itself starts at the Pouka Pond in the Hall of Heroes, not with Nimbus. Nimbus discusses a Strand weapon, and Osiris's training program in Radiosonde is a later step.

Later, Osiris and Nimbus worked out that the Witness could communicate through Ghosts because of parallel connections between Light and Darkness. This was covered in the Parting the Veil quest, and Nimbus joined the Coalition's final stand against the Witness in The Final Shape.

Vendor

Nimbus is the Destination vendor for Neomuna.
